1. How do I get about getting an caremed pack?

We don’t supply packs direct to the public. We work in the background with your pharmacy to ensure cyclical preparation of your DAA using the latest automation technology.

2. What is the benefit of Dose Administration Aids?

Dose Administration Aids are proven to improve health outcomes and reduce hospitalisations. DAA’s reduce the burden on the health system. Regardless of the situation, DAA’s come with proven benefits in saving space, time and stop you from having to worry about managing all the different medication boxes.

3. Can you you pack Sachets or Blister Cards?

We can pack and supply both blister cards and sachet DAA formats.

4. Is this service open to my pharmacy?

Yes, this service is open to every pharmacy in Australia.

5. Is there a minimum number of subscribers we need to have to use the service?

Yes, your pharmacy will need to have a minimum of 25 patients to subscribe to the service.

6. How does billing work?

There are 2 components to the billing, a packing or service fee and a drug fee. The packing fee is fixed on a per patient per week basis and the drug fee is amalgamated for each individual tablet used in the preparation of the DAA.

7. Is there a delivery or consumable charge?

There are no additional charges for delivery. Consumable costs are included in the regular weekly fee. In the instance whereby an extra pack is required for 1 patient, a small consumable fee is added

8. How do I manage dispensing and changes?

Dispensing is controlled with a Virtual Pill Inventory ensuring the most accurate dispensing. Changes are identifiable from a simple report which highlights which packs have had changes since they are supplied.
